I'm Ash, founder of DOSSI. If this is your first time here, Hi, great timing!

Last year we closed down our photobook app. It was slow.. clunky.. lacked basic features and was wildly expensive to maintain and develop further. It had to go. Which was mentally heartbreaking. We (my husband and I) spent our savings to build it and to let it go was actually pretty devastating. And then, rebuilding a new platform while running an interior design studio at ashbennett.co (for those that follow me over there, hi!) and being a mum, took longer than expected.

The Dossi socials had to give and I'm not thrilled about that. We have a genuinely beautiful community here and a lot of beautiful emails lately from people asking when the books are coming back.

The answer is SO soon.

After searching (literally the globe) for a new developer I found one and he's amazing. He's also based IN MELBOURNE. Love that. The new platform works across every device, desktop, iOS, Android. The interface is faster and easier to navigate, you can add text to your pages, and you can actually preview your book before it goes to print. Every book is still printed and packed in Melbourne.

Long and the short, last year was busy and big and this year will be just the same. But I promise to share more of it... more consistently, more personally. And I'm bringing my interior design brain with me. Expect content on how to display your photos at home, how to style your books on a shelf, how to make printed memories part of how your space looks and feels. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time.

There's a lot more coming from DOSSI in 2026. But first, the books.
